I just painted with 8 other artists on the roof of the Ivy Hotel in San Diego to raise money for Invisible Children, and we raised about $1300. Someone bought the panels I painted on and they are already in his house... pretty sweet.

The Leucadia Project

I'm hooked on my hand plane made by The Leucadia Project. These guys are making hand planes for body surfing out of recycled surfboards... totally awesome. They asked me to paint one, and well, I couldn't say no!

Just delivered this commissioned piece to a great couple in Del Mar, and they were super stoked! I called this piece "Drifting towards dusk"...

Sea Turtle Symposium

This is a new logo designed for the 31st Annual Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology and Conservation. The conference will be meeting in San Diego, California to talk about the future of the sea turtles, their environments and how they can be protected.

I used a green color palette that coincides with different turtles and their colors. The 3 turtles represent the turtles growth from newborn to adult in a cycle of life format.

Belly Up Live Painting

I made it on the calendar for a live painting with 2 other artists and 3 djs to help raise money for the gulf oil spill... should be a good time!
