Whole Foods commissioned me to do a bunch of work for their newest store in Encinitas, CA. One of those projects was painting a 24'x10.5' mural based off a small painting I did called 'Glide'. I had an amazing time painting this and so grateful for the opportunity. Thanks Whole Foods!

Hang Together donation

This is the piece of art I donated today for the "Hang Together" fundraiser for Japan earthquake relief this coming Saturday, April 2, 6-10 pm at Surfindian in Pacific Beach. I've done a lot of work with Pro Peninsula over the past couple of years. They are instrumental in helping the sea turtle populations in Baja Mexico. I just produced a limited run of prints to be sold at a sea turtle symposium in San Diego to be held in April 2011. Really stoked on how they turned out...

Body Surfing

My roommate and I love to surf. Love it. But we've found our secondary love for riding the waves... body surfing. A pair of fins and a handplane, or no handplane and you are good to go. So simple and so enjoyable it's amazing. This picture is post D-Street Encinitas session. Beach break barrels and beach break beat downs.

My Beautiful friend Lauren, to the left of me in this picture along with her sister and best friends, passed away 3 years ago from a long battle with Cancer. She initially won the battle and completely recovered... but it came back and took her away from us. Even until the end, she was always positive and happy, even when I know it wasn't how she felt. She continues to inspire everyone in her life that knew her. Love you Lauren...
